Phelps Medical Group welcomes Andrea Rabe, APRN, WHNP-BC, an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
Rabe cares for patients age 12 and older, from adolescence through adulthood, perimenopause, menopause and beyond. She especially values the opportunity to build lasting relationships with women throughout the different stages of their lives.
Rabe earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha in 2009, completing the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program. She has practiced as an APRN since 2009.
She is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner and a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, reflecting her specialized expertise in perimenopause, menopause and midlife women’s health. She is also certified to perform colposcopy, a procedure used to more closely examine the cervix following certain abnormal screening results.
“My goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment where women feel heard, valued and comfortable asking questions,” Rabe said. “I want patients to understand their options and feel confident taking an active role in their health. I will share my recommendations, but decisions about care should be made together.”
Rabe and her husband, Tyler, live in Bertrand with their two daughters. Joining Phelps Medical Group gives her the opportunity to work closer to home.

Rabe’s services include well-woman examinations, contraception and family planning, screening and treatment of sexually transmitted infections, care for menstrual disorders, cervical cancer screening, breast health assessments, preconception counseling and care for vaginal and vulvar concerns. She also provides perimenopause and menopause management, sexual health services, health education and disease prevention.
